Shipping policy
SHIPPING POLICY
Fulgenix Farms supplies commercial livestock and aquaculture operations. Order handling differs by format, so this policy is set out by format.
Where your order ships from
Fulgenix Farms product is manufactured in Canada. Depending on your destination and the format you order, your shipment leaves either our Canadian manufacturing facility or a regional staging point in the United States. The shipping point for your order is confirmed on your order acknowledgement or freight quote.
10 L trial packs, purchased online
Available to delivery addresses in Canada and the United States.
Shipping is calculated at checkout using live carrier rates based on weight and destination.
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays. Processing time is the time we need to pick, pack and tender your order to the carrier. It is separate from transit time, which is added on top.
Once your order ships you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Allow up to 48 hours for tracking to become active with the carrier.
205 L drums and 1000 L totes
These formats are not sold through online checkout. Contact our team and we will prepare a quote for your operation.
Freight on bulk formats is quoted per order before shipment and appears on your invoice as a separate line item. We arrange and book the carrier.
Bulk orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days once payment has cleared. Processing time is separate from transit time. Your transit estimate is confirmed on your freight quote.
Title to the product and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier takes possession of the product at our shipping point.
Delivery and offload on bulk formats
Bulk formats move by LTL freight on pallets.
We include liftgate service and delivery appointment scheduling in your freight quote where the carrier and the load permit. Please note that a full 1000 L tote weighs approximately 1,000 kg, which is at or above the rated capacity of most carrier liftgates. Totes therefore normally require a loading dock or a forklift at the delivery site. We will confirm what is possible for your site on your quote.
So that we can quote your freight accurately, we will ask you for:
- the full delivery address, including postal or ZIP code
- whether there is a loading dock at the delivery point
- whether a forklift rated for the load is available on site
- whether liftgate service is required
- whether a 53 foot trailer can physically reach the delivery point
- your receiving days and hours
- a site contact and mobile number the carrier can call
Someone must be present to receive and sign for the delivery during the agreed window. Redelivery, storage, detention and reconsignment charges arising from a missed, refused or inaccessible delivery are billed to the buyer.
Inspecting your delivery
Inspect every delivery before the driver leaves.
Record any damage, shortage, leakage or broken seal on the delivery receipt or bill of lading at the time of delivery, and have the driver acknowledge it. This matters: a clean signed delivery receipt makes a freight claim very difficult to recover afterwards.
Report the issue to us within 48 hours of delivery at , with photographs and the lot number from the affected containers. Our Return and Refund Policy sets out how we handle claims from there.
Delivery estimates
All processing and transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Weather, seasonal road restrictions, carrier capacity and border processing can extend transit.
Customs, duties and taxes on cross border shipments
Unless a written distribution agreement between us states otherwise, the buyer is the importer of record and is responsible for customs entry, duties, taxes, brokerage fees and any import permits required in the destination country.
